Following the decision in Crane v Canons Leisure [2007] EWCA Civ 1352 - the fees of external Costs Lawyers can be treated as Solicitors' work rather than as a disbursement. In CFA cases a success fee can also validly be charged on our fees. This may result in Clients making a profit from utilising our services.
